KPV photovoltaic modules entitled to achieve the Italian 10% tariff surplus with GSE-compliant certificate!
Since the introduction of the new Italian feed-in law "Conto Energia IV" only photovoltaic installations with modules, that are manufactured in the European Union are entitled to achieve a 10% bonus additional to the tariff. As the largest Austrian module manufacturer and one of the first manufacturers worldwide, KPV Solar GmbH now obtained a "Declaration of Origin", issued by TUV Rheinland and accepted by the GSE, that certifies the European production content for the whole product range of the KPV module series (KPV PE NEC, KPV PE QCells, KPV ME EC).
TÜV Rheinland established the contents of this "Declaration of Origin" in close collaboration with GSE to avoid confusion in the market caused by non-authorized certificates and to introduce a general standard for this new regulation introduced by Conto Energia IV.
The certification process, which includes an independent factory inspection of the production site in Austria was successfully completed on 26th July. Hence KPV modules are among the first products on the market complying with the requirements necessary to achieve the 10% tariff surplus according to Conto Energia IV.
